My last book of the year and damn if it didn’t go out with a bang! To clarify, I’m not talking about the Big Bang or the new year’s fireworks bang, I’m talking good old naughty book bang. And the banging here was off the charts hot. I think this is the raciest R. S. Grey book I’ve read so far. Damn!
Brie is a 19 year old gymnast on her way to Olympic glory when her team suddenly ends up with a different coach a month before Rio. Chance would have it for him to be a sexy sonotha that pushes all the wrong buttons for Brie, and the feeling is mutual. Soon enough their relationship becomes a tag of war not only in the training department but in the matters of the heart as well. And the winner takes all.
I was originally seduced to read this series because I happened upon this book first. As a fan of gymnastics I was curious to look behind the scenes. I remember that feeling of triumph when Aliya Mustafina took gold for uneven bars in Rio. I think I cried. So I wasn’t surprised to find myself craving a little bit of spicy hotness to go along with gymnastics acrobatics. Oh, I got it alright.
Coach Erik was everything you’d want if you wanted your strings pulled and your brain scrambled, but he sure was one hot bastard.
Over and out
